The craft
For me, retouching is really about bringing out what’s already there. It’s in the small adjustments to colour, light, texture and detail that an image starts to feel more balanced and complete.
Balance
I like the process to feel thoughtful rather than overworked. The goal is always to make the image stronger, more refined and more considered, while still keeping it natural.
